We cannot say enough good things about Cam Tu dental clinic. Even before leaving Hawaii to fly to Vietnam, we had been communicating with the very personable Luke, who responded very promptly to every one of our chat messages no matter the time of the day we sent it. We knew before flying (to Vietnam), exactly what the length of our dental treatment would be, and how much it would cost. Once here, from the first time we entered the clinic, we were welcomed with such professional and friendly staff. Our dentists Yoko and her assistant Summer, and Roel and his assistant Mac were the most competent and skilled dentists we have ever met. We were just blown away and in awe of how modern the equipment and techniques were being used here. For sure, we will have no second thoughts about using Cam tu for our future dental work, and have been recommending them to our family and friends already. Overall, it was ok for simple procedures if you know what you need. I went in for a check up, cleaning and fill on my implant. Because I decided against changing the implant that I current have, Dr Abbey Narula's (Head Doctor) attitude changed toward me. The check up was basically non existent as they simply went into the cleaning and I had to specifically ask questions. And they didn't offer x-rays with the check up or even discuss what the check up would consist of. I would be hesitant of sales pitches here though. I only stuck with them because the location was convenient. But I suggest looking for a dentist that volunterily explains their services that also align with their price list. I have an implant from another doctor that has a hole in the middle the screw to hold the crown in place. I went in to have the hole filled and met with Dr Abbey Narula (Head Doctor). He suggested I change my crown to one of the Full Arch Implant packages the offer that does not have the hole in the middle so I would not have to keep filling. My implant is pretty new and under warranty by my current doctor, so I do not want to change it yet. He then told me he would have to take x-rays to check the implant first for $200k VND and $500k VND for the fill. At this point it felt like he was just adding on fees to prove the point that not changing the crown isnt recommended. I had to ask a lot of questions to get comprehensive answers to the difference between my implant and what they sell. I told him I would need to think another it and come back. I spoke to my dentist about changing the crown and he recommended against it because if there is an issue, we have to change the whole crown. So I decided against changing it and keeping the crown with the hole. When I let Dr Abbey know my decision upon my return he seemed more dismissive and reiterated an unnecessary amount of times that the fill would not be guaranteed. At this point he would not even say a sentence without adding that it was not guaranteed. In addition, he had reception write a note on my receipt besides the fill that says "No Warranty". I understand that fill does not last forever because it will wear down, but he became so dismissive it was uncomfortable. Even though I let him know I would come back in a few months to change the crown. Dr Abbey seems like a salesman and I would have simply wanted him to do the best with whatever decision I chose. But it seems if you don't choose to do one of their implants, then the attitude changes. I requested a check up, cleaning and fill. And the price list says 100k for the X-ray, but Dr Abbey added another $100k for reasons I don't know. He doesn't take the time to explain anything if you're not agreeing to the implant. I also did a cleaning with Yoko, she was great. But she just did exactly what he told her. I think she could have taken more time to do the exam and talk through it. She did the cleaning and fill and answered questions if I asked. My appointment was at 9am but the appointment team requested I come at 8:30am. All for them to not be ready because the doctors don't start until 9am.

I spend a good hour dismissing discussing the two different types of teeth whitening they had and the prices for both. I was told 5,000,000 for the Zoom II at least 5 times as they wanted me to come back. Then I was told that if I write a Google review they would do it for 3,500,000, so I made an appointment. When I went in for the appointment I was then told 5,000,000, not 3,500,000. Then they told me that I should get teeth clashing for another 500,000 before I get the whitening done which I want told before. After telling them that I want told about the teeth cleaning for 500,000 extra I was told that it is okay without the teeth cleaning. I HAD TO SIMPLY WALK OUT AS THEY ARE NOT BEING HONEST WITH ME. What a waste of time. Good news it that they got the Google review that they deserve. Definitely wouldn't believe many of these reviews about this place.

I had a very positive experience at Camtu, this was my second time coming here to finish what I started last year. I had reservations about travelling to the dentist but safe to say this is the best dentist I've been to. Dr Abby and Dr Van are the best! The whole staff were very professional from start to finish. I'm very happy with the work, the help with onward travel from the receptionist (!) I had root canal and crown treatments, and a window of a few days, they made it all happen in a timely manner from scanning to producing the crown overnight and installation the following day. If I ever need work again, this is where I will go. Thanks guys xx

I have been coming here for a About 8 years and always have a great experience here. From the warm welcome at reception to any procedure I have had there it's always been very professional. Last time I went just for a clean and whitening but ended up needing a filling. The whole experience was pain free. My Doctor Yoko was extremely good at her job and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I will always come back here. In side is very clean and tidy. If your walking from the side street it looks a little like it's closed but from the main road it definitely looks open. I'm sure if you choose here you will walk out smiling.

This is a very clean clinic, all the staff speak English well. They are very accomodating to foreigners. I had lots of work to be done with little time and they were able to fit it all in. I felt very safe and well cared for. They explain the whole process clearly. I highly recommend this clinic if you are a foreigner in Saigon. You will receive a high level of care for a fraction of the cost at home. In fact I have never received this standard of care in Australia while paying 5x more.

I can't recommend this place enough. I walked in with major tooth ache which should have really been sorted a few years prior. From the minute I walked in the service was amazing and very relaxed. Super clean. I am now just over a week having a tooth out and everything has gone to plan. Dr Abbey Narula was the initial specialist I saw. He has great knowledge and haven't spent time close to home(Scotland) I felt in safe hands. He still checks up on me even a week after. Great experience. The most painless I've had so far. It was as if the tool did not touch my teeth at all. I was treated by Dr. Abbey Narula, whom I recommend whole-heartedly. Very professional and with the latest equipment that I've not seen in Europe. Definitely recommend. Pricing is good too. Apparently it's a very popular place for people who travel from abroad to get their teeth done here at affordable price, which wasn't my goal, I just had an emergency and they saw me immediately, even without an appointment which would never happen in my country. Im usually quite anxious about dentists, I’ve had a few bad experiences. So when I had to have an extraction whilst on holiday here. You can imagine how I felt. I’m from the uk so we use NHS there. But from now on I think I may start booking my dental appointments to align with my holidays. This was so much easier and better than what I’ve become accustomed too. No waiting, you are seen to within 15mins of arrival. At the first visit I had a scan which identified an infection. So 3 days antibiotics then straight neck for extraction. 100% professional service, completely pain free. Everything was explained in detail by a dentist who spoke and understood amazing English. - Trám răng cực kỳ ẩu, làm không có tâm. Vừa vô mới xem sơ đã kêu bọc răng sứ cái răng sâu, khách ko đồng ý bọc sứ, muốn trám lại thì trám sơ sài kiểu ko hài lòng. Trám mà ko chịu làm sạch chỗ sâu trám chồng lên vết trám cũ, trám trong vòng 10p là xong. Trám được 2 ngày tróc ra để 1 lỗ hỏng trên răng phải đi Nha khoa khác làm lại tốn tiền double. Trám đã ẩu như vậy ai tin tưởng cho làm răng sứ nữa. - Bác sĩ người nước ngoài không tận tình thì thôi, bạn y tá nữ (nếu nhớ ko lầm tên UYÊN) thái độ cũng không tốt luôn, nc với khách mà cọc lóc, không tư vấn được, nhăn nhó khi khách ko đồng ý bọc răng sứ. Thái độ TỆ. - Đến lần đầu mà cũng là lần cuối. Chân thành khuyên ai trước khi làm răng chỗ này nên cân nhắc 1000 lần.

Always a great experience! In 3 years I was doing cleanings, fillings and removed 3 wisdom teeth. All done perfectly by Dr. Abby. I had a teeth cleaning while on holiday from the UK and it was honestly the best teeth cleaning I have ever had. Dr Abbey was so gentle and thorough, he took about 50 minutes and was incredibly patient. It cost around £20, compared to the typical cost of about £60 in the UK (and they spend about 10 minutes rather than the 50 minutes here). Would highly recommend and will return.
