I had a very thorough diagnosis from Dr Arne, then had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by the surgeon Dr Tsang and was very relieved to find it took him all of 20 minutes to complete this whole operation, with minimal pain. His manner was also incredibly kind and reassuring, which I was hugely grateful for. I am now in recovery and feeling very lucky to have received the care I did. Thank you!

I came here thinking I needed a rootcanal..boy what was I wrong. The tooth was so infected that it had to come out. When I gently touched it, it made me jump to the ceiling. Because of an abces in the tooth..it could not be anesthetized anymore.It was either flying to Saigon and go under...or it had to be pulled and wrenched for a few minutes to come out. I have a high pain level, but this was a (nerve) pain never experienced in my 50 years on earth. Dr. Arne had to stop multiple times, because the pain was just to much for me. Dr. Arne stayed cool and collected and gave me the time and space to take breaks between wrenching the tooth lose. He was very understanding, patience and professional. He saw some more things on ths X-ray that needed attention in the near future, and offered me his help and advise for future treathments. I can recommend Dr. Arne to every one. And compared to europe the bill you get presented is crazy low. Thank you Arne for your great help and assitance.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I visited this dental clinic because I had a good experience in Saigon a few years ago. Now that I was in Hanoi, I wanted to visit the branch in Hanoi. However, the care in Saigon and Hanoi is not the same. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The appointment was rushed, and the doctor did not listen to my concerns. I wanted an X-ray, but I did not get one. I have never been to a dentist, whether in Asia or America, and not gotten an X-ray. This dentist seemed only interested in collecting the fee. I doubt he cared about the patient. When he cleaned my teeth, he was so rough. He did not numb my gums or anything. Once he was done cleaning and scraping, he just left. The hygienist asked, as he rushed out the door, if she should do a rinse. He turned around and said, "Yes," and walked out. I would never set foot in that clinic again. I felt robbed of a good experience. That was the worst dental experience I have had in my life. It is a shame. Hanoi Westcoast should take some tips from the dentists, office staff, and hygienists in Saigon because they are obviously lacking in more ways than one.

Many thanks to Dr. Arne Wieman for his detailed and professional work! My front tooth was long overdue for a crown, but I've always been a bit nervous as it is such a prominent front-facing tooth. Dr. Wieman made sure to explain everything clearly to me and the procedure was as comfortable as could be. He took time to to test the crown with me to make sure it was the right shape and shade of white, and even sent it back to the (external) lab to be remade when he wasn't satisfied with it. He explained that even the smallest gap between the crown and my teeth would cause me a lot of daily annoyance as food would get caught. I've had the crown in for 6 months now, and there have been no issues. It's clear that he is very skilled at his craft and treats each patient with the utmost care. Thank you for what you do!
