I was in Vietnam for business when I had a bit of an issue, resulting in one of my veneers popping off. I contacted the Westlake office to see about getting in to have it rebonded, and Le Thanh answered promptly, offering me several appointment options to meet my hectic schedule. If I could give zero stars, I would. I visited this dental clinic because I had a good experience in Saigon a few years ago. Now that I was in Hanoi, I wanted to visit the branch in Hanoi. However, the care in Saigon and Hanoi is not the same. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The appointment was rushed, and the doctor did not listen to my concerns. I wanted an X-ray, but I did not get one. I have never been to a dentist, whether in Asia or America, and not gotten an X-ray. This dentist seemed only interested in collecting the fee. I doubt he cared about the patient. When he cleaned my teeth, he was so rough. He did not numb my gums or anything. Once he was done cleaning and scraping, he just left. The hygienist asked, as he rushed out the door, if she should do a rinse. He turned around and said, "Yes," and walked out. I would never set foot in that clinic again. I felt robbed of a good experience. That was the worst dental experience I have had in my life. It is a shame. Hanoi Westcoast should take some tips from the dentists, office staff, and hygienists in Saigon because they are obviously lacking in more ways than one.

Arne performed 5 hours (split into two painless sessions) of filling fixes and cleaning following a hack job done by another dentist in Hanoi. His professionalism, extensive experience, and attention to detail was obvious from my first 15 minutes with him. The fillings were literally painless as he worked with precision. Texts and emails were answered expeditiously and the overall feeling was warm and welcoming. Many thanks to Dr. Arne Wieman for his detailed and professional work! My front tooth was long overdue for a crown, but I've always been a bit nervous as it is such a prominent front-facing tooth. Dr. Wieman made sure to explain everything clearly to me and the procedure was as comfortable as could be. He took time to to test the crown with me to make sure it was the right shape and shade of white, and even sent it back to the (external) lab to be remade when he wasn't satisfied with it. He explained that even the smallest gap between the crown and my teeth would cause me a lot of daily annoyance as food would get caught. I've had the crown in for 6 months now, and there have been no issues. It's clear that he is very skilled at his craft and treats each patient with the utmost care. Thank you for what you do!
