I wanted to have some dental work done during my visit to Hoi An. My research led me to TGM Dental. Highly rated. I booked my first appointment while still in NZ,via WhatsApp. On arrival for this appointment I was greeted by the receptionists with a big smile. The dental team examined my teeth, the weren't in good condition. On their advise we agreed on the work that needed to be done. I was given a detailed quote for this work. Considerably cheaper than having the same work done in NZ. The work included the removal of all my old fillings. Preparation for the filling of several porcelain crowns, porcelain veneers. At no time did I feel uncomfortable while this work was being done. Everything was so professional. The results are amazing. I 100% recommend TGM Dental. You will not be disappointed.

I had been planning a holiday to Hoi An and a couple of weeks before I left a tooth broke. I decided to research dentists in Hoi A because I knew I’d need a crown which in Australia are costly. I had 3 visits to the clinic over a week. I had a root canal, 3 crowns, 4 fillings, cleaning and 4 X-rays, plus the temp crowns and temp filling while the work was done. The first visit was on Monday and I had the crowns fitted on Friday afternoon. It cost $1000 Australian dollars. That’s would have cost in excess of $12,000 at home. I’m super happy with the work. It’s a different experience getting the work done in Vietnam. A shared room with another patient with a divider down the middle of the room. But it was very hygienic, all the instruments were sterilised, they gave me as much pain relief as I needed and were very lovely and professional. I will absolutely be a repeat customer, even with airfares and accommodation it’s way more economical. The clinic was full off Aussies getting work done, many repeat customers

I was a bit nervous to go to a dentist abroad because you never know what to expect. But it exceed my expectations. The cleaning work was very professional, very thorough and very cheap compared to my home country. They do a bunch of other dental work as well. Much recommended!

Came here with my 9 yr old daughter, both of us for cleaning and checkup. I haven't been to the dentist in 10 years.. I booked over the phone, 2 hours in advance. Daughter was in and out in 5min. And cleaning for me took about 30 minutes, as I had many stains. No cavities, thankfully. Very happy with the outcome and the process. Amazingly it cost only 250k total, for both of us. I wish we had these prices in Australia!

We started coming to TGM Dental in 2018, having minor work completed We came back for implants in 2023 with follow up work of Bridges and caps that year for us both! Then 2024 moving onto Veneers, more Caps and the Implant completion! Every step of my and my husband’s work had been nothing but professional, supportive and caring about any issues along the way! I had an infection in my jaw before arriving in Vietnam TGM went above and beyond to try and heal this issue! I had a number of appointments to help rectify the infection all covered for the quote given! Minh the Owner from DaNang and Bich from Hoi An have both gone above and beyond in my own care constantly checking how I had been after each treatment. Both interrupt any concerns or questions you may have to the team! I personally can’t recommend this Dental Group both Hoi An and DaNang enough! We will be back it’s been always a pleasure dealing with the whole team! My only advice when coming to have a number of procedures done to give yourself 2-6 weeks as much of the work is intense and as amazing as the team are your body only copes with so much intense at once! However if time is the consider a couple of trips! ?

This has to be one of the worst dental experiences I’ve ever had. I asked for a deep clean and a filling, so nothing major. Red flags started when they didn’t put a bib or a shield on me so I had a mixture of spit, water and teeth decay flying all over my face. To make matters worse they didn’t even numb me so I had to suffer through an intensive deep clean + filling up until the point where I told them to stop and couldn’t continue forward. They decided to numb me during my filling when drilling in to my teeth but didn’t wait or check whether the numbing had taken effect before drilling directly in to my teeth. I left with a pretty bad filling and only half a deep clean done. I’ve had my teeth deep cleaned in 4 different countries, this place was by far the worst by a long shot. Would not recommend, I suggest you take your money elsewhere.

BEWARE of TGM Hoi An, Vietnam ! All these good reviews must be fake as I have had a very bad experience. Had a bridge done and failed after just over a year. The dentist in Australia showed me in an xray of all the things wrong with it and the reason why it has become infected. I am now in bad pain and will need a root canal done or extract the whole tooth and then possibly an implant so I can chew. Also, in the same visit the dentist at TGM pointed that I would need my back molar re-crowned - I don't think she knew that it had only been crowned 6 months ago and when I told her this, obviously she had to stick to the story but then I found out from the original dentist that there was nothing wrong with it! One final point, their hygiene is very questionable, as per a review from another patient, as they wear gloves then go from room to room touching door handles etc. then come back and put their hand in your mouth and there were blood stain splatters left uncleaned from the previous patient!

Awesome people. I had a small problem (bite shifted and a new high point developed) that required some filing down. They took me in the next day and did an awesome job. The equipment was modern - no different than my dentist in Canada. The only difference is that they spent more time making sure everything was right than my dentist would have done (and didn't charge me several hundred dollars). Can't say enough good things about them.

Very happy with work done on both mine and husband’s teeth. I had cracked back tooth and lots of old amalgam fillings. All removed and new crowns fitted, husband had crown fitted and whitening. I was travelling with a tour group through Vietnam and was sampling a coconut candy toffee at the coconut factory in Saigon. The toffee pulled my crown off and I was worried about getting it repaired as we were leaving for Hoi An the next day. I'm so grateful I found TGM surgery, Hoi An, and based on their very good google reviews I made an appointment when I arrived in Hoi An. The crown was successfully cemented back in by the dentist, Lai, who did a very good job and it fits perfectly again. Thanks to Minh on reception for her prompt communications to set up the appointment via WhatsApp. She speaks very good English and Lai was able to understand me as well. I was a bit nervous about going to a dentist in a foreign country but my worries were allayed and I was able to happily carry on with my tour group. I recommend this surgery to anyone looking for a repair whilst travelling. The charge of $33 nzd was extremely reasonable and I would almost consider going there from New Zealand if I required a lot of dental work.

I had extensive work done at TGM Dental in Da Nang. The staff were excellent, led by Minh who converses really well in English and was always just a phone call or message away. In retrospect, I should have allowed more time for all the procedures as it was pretty intense. I had crowns, bridges, veneers and porcelain fillings...oh and root canal therapy in just over a week. The team were very focused and had up-to-date equipment. The crowns and veneers are of good quality. Apart from allowing plenty of time, my advice would be to give some thought to how white you want your smile to be. I was given a choice, and I made an on-the-spot decision as I hadn't really thought that far. I don't know if I made the right decision as my smile is a lovely bright one - but in a 72 year old face. Another thing to bear in mind if you're having extensive work done is that there will be some sensitivity for a bit, though you can eat virtually straight away.

I went to TGM to get a second opinion after visiting another dentist in Hanoi. They were not aware they were giving me a second opinion, but the treatment I received from the staff and the recommendation was spot on. The dentist addressed my issue right away, made her recommendation and offered a quote. I did not feel at all like I was being upsold to at all - the recommendations were supported by facts and addressed my issues. The care taken and work done was exceptional. And the price came to 40% less of what was quoted in Hanoi. I would not hesitate to recommend TGM to my friends and family.

Best dentist I’ve ever been to, hands down. Everything was well explained, all options were explored and no pressure to choose one over another was applied. If you are even thinking about having some work done, go in for a clean, get some X-rays, and go from there. They gave me new teeth that I never thought I would be able to afford, but more than that, their demeanour, warmth and professionalism was flawless. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone, they will put your interests and your health above all else. Lastly, I don’t know what sorcery they are applying, I’ve had root canals in the past and been in severe pain after the anaesthetic has worn off, but I had two pretty big ones done and can honestly say I didn’t even need panadol/paracetamol in the days following. They are genuinely some of the kindest, most hygienic and professional people I’ve ever dealt with.

I cannot speak highly enough of Phuong and the Dental team at TGM in Hoi An. They are honest in evaluating what dental work is required, explain and outline exactly what they recommend and give a written quote for consideration before starting any work. I had 2 implants done and was very impressed by the level of care and professionalism of the dental specialist and supporting team who performed the procedure. TGM also give back to the community by donating part of their yearly revenue to East Meets West Dental who are dedicated to bringing healthy smiles to thousands of disadvantaged children in Vietnam! That’s got to make you feel good about going to the dentist ??

I do not doubt that they sterilize the instrument, but medical equipment was dusty and stained. They are supposed to use antiseptic wipes for every handle and buttons control panel, and seems they don’t. The worst was that the manager wouldn’t let me out of the clinic unless I agree not to leave a bad review, it felt very stressful.

They were really kind and one held my hand during the extraction when she could see I was becoming stressed. Overall it was an excellent process, as far as a visit to the dentist goes! My dentist at home quoted $1800 I sent them the X-rays and quote and I paid $360. Very happy that the money I saved allowed me a holiday!

Like a lot of the population, I have a great fear of Dentists. Nothing personal to Dentists, just my own anxiety levels. But after avoiding a trip to the Dentist for 15 months, I had to bite the bullet for a clean and polish as it was desperately needed. Working in a clinical environment in the UK, I was impressed by the sterile environment and equipment. In addition, even more impressed with the Dentists gentle treatment and the results were amazing; the most thorough clean I've ever had. Unfortunately, I also had to have a filling (striking fear into me) without copious amounts of injections and I only flinched once. I would, without doubt, highly recommend TGM Dental

I had a great experience with TGM dental in Hoi An. A few of their staff spoke English, the prices are great, the rooms are clean, and they are conveniently located in Hoi An. Just note for early appointments, although their opening time may say 8am a staff member did not arrive until 8.25am.

My mom came by here for a teeth cleaning today. After using the booking system online (just to see when they were next available) we received an email confirming the time we asked for worked so we headed their way within 30 mins of the booking. We arrived earlier and were greeted by the front desk associates who were well versed in English and very helpful. You fill in a form and there’s a quick consultation on needs. The dentist Dr. D has a good grasp of the language and can easily communicate needs and questions. Originally coming for a cleaning only, we had questions about fillings. The cleaning was completed by the hygienist and was done fairly quickly (let’s say 20 minutes). Thereafter, the dentist checked my moms teeth and advised that while we did not need to do it with this clinic (or now for that matter) there were 9 teeth that needed fillings. And doing them would be a preventative and smart option. So we went ahead. The cleaning cost 200k dong and each filling was 280k. A fraction of what it costs abroad. My mom felt no pain while doing it and little sensitivities. So far so good (day 1)

Bis zu meinem Termin wurde mir telefonisch Unterstützung angeboten und auch die Behandlung vor Ort verlief unkompliziert und schnell. Meine Zahnärztin hat mir jeden Schritt erklärt und mit top Geräten auch immer gezeigt, was sie macht. Ich bin sehr froh, dass ich zu TGM Dental gegangen bin und nicht die Zahnschmerzen bis zum Ende der Reise mitgeschleppt hab! Sehr zu empfehlen, da sehr guter Preis und top Leistung.
